Kevin The Carrot's Search For A Lost Dog At Christmas
The campaign has once again been created by McCann
05 November 2026
Kevin the Carrot returns for Christmas, but festive celebrations are put on hold when the family realises their beloved Cauli Dog has gone missing.
The highly anticipated Christmas advert, launched today, opens on a tender note as Chantenay, Kevin’s daughter, wishes for the safe return of the family’s beloved floret friend, Cauli Dog.
Kevin and Chantenay put up ‘LOST’ posters and soon discover a trail of tiny paw prints, leading them into the snow-dusted wilderness to continue their search.
Along the way, a well-meaning scarecrow’s questionable directions send them briefly off course and bring them face-to-face with what appears to be a grizzly bear, only for it to be revealed as a cuddly squirrel. Kevin also takes a tumble during the adventure, adding one of the funny moments fans have come to expect from the popular carrot’s festive escapades.
The paw prints eventually lead them back home, where the Carrot clan searches every corner with a fine-tooth comb before hearing soft snoring coming from inside a Christmas cracker.
In a heartwarming finale, Chantenay’s wish comes true. Cauli Dog is found safe and sound, with Chantenay declaring: “Cauli, I love you.”
The advert closes with Aldi’s festive endline: “All You Want For Christmas”.
Commenting on this year’s campaign, Dave Price, CCO at McCANN in Manchester said: “Kevin the Carrot was just a seed in the McCann Manchester allotment back in 2016. If I’m honest, I thought we’d get 2 or 3 years out of him at best. But here we are, 11 years later with a Christmas icon. The McCann team feel incredibly lucky that the British public have taken Kevin into their hearts. I hope everyone enjoys this year’s story as much as we’ve loved creating every single one of Kevin’s adventures. It’s been a privilege.”
Kristin Sonfield, Marketing Director at Aldi UK, said: “Kevin has become a much-loved part of Christmas for so many families, so we’re thrilled to have him back on our screens alongside Chantenay and Cauli Dog. Their latest adventure brings plenty of festive fun, familiar faces and, of course, a little bit of Christmas chaos. But at its heart is a lovely reminder that, for all the presents and celebrations, the real magic of Christmas comes from spending it with the people who matter most.”
Darren Guy, Managing Partner, Starcom, said: “This is always such an exciting time of year for us, and our ambition for 2026 was to show consumers that Aldi really does have all you want for Christmas. From big shared media moments to several exciting contextual partnerships and product-led activity, it’s been a huge team effort and we can’twait to finally see Kevin, Cauli Dog and the campaign out in the world!”
Aldi’s Christmas advert launches on Thursday 5th November, airing on UK television for the first time at 8pm.
