For the first time in almost 10 years, M&S is bringing Fashion, Home, Beauty and Food together in one Christmas campaign, The Home of Christmas.

Launching on social media at 8am on Friday 6 November 2026, the festive film stars James Norton as an undercover Santa, alongside Lucy Punch as Mrs Claus and a special appearance and exclusive soundtrack by one of the UK’s most celebrated voices, Katherine Jenkins OBE.

The campaign takes Christmas beyond the North Pole and into the home, with a playful twist on one of the season’s most familiar characters. After a little encouragement from Mrs Claus - played by Amandaland's Lucy Punch - Santa goes incognito so he can experience Christmas himself without being recognised. He swaps his red suit for a Christmas jumper and shaves off his beard, Suddenly looking a little younger and a lot less familiar, Santa, played by award-winning actor James Norton, leaves the North Pole behind and heads out into the world to experience Christmas from a different perspective.

His Christmas adventure takes him through the moments that make the season special: getting dressed up, gathering around a table of brilliant food, choosing gifts people will genuinely love and transforming the home for Christmas. Along the way, Santa discovers that Christmas magic doesn't just come from the North Pole. It's created in homes across the country, around tables, under trees and in the moments shared with the people we love. And he's not the only one helping to make it happen. From food and fashion to beauty, gifting and home, M&S is there for every festive moment. That's why M&S is The Home of Christmas.

The idea reflects what customers say matters most. M&S Customer Pulse research found that 81% of customers want a special Christmas with the people they love. Food also remains firmly at the heart of the celebration with 68% saying food is what makes the season feel special.

The Home of Christmas will extend far beyond the festive film, with a major integrated campaign bringing inspiration, entertainment and M&S must-haves to customers throughout the season. The campaign will appear across TV, video on demand, cinema, outdoor, social media, radio, digital display and print, with each channel showing how M&S Food, Fashion, Home and Beauty come together to create Christmas.

At the centre of the campaign will be M&S’s Pantheon store on Oxford Street, transformed into a physical Home of Christmas and bringing the breadth of the festive offer together under one roof. Across social and digital channels, the Friends of M&S will share their own take on the season through curated series of M&S Love That Lists, offering personal edits of the presents, food, fashion, beauty and homeware they are coveting for Christmas.

Customers will also be able to discover dedicated partywear, gifting and hosting edits, alongside festive inspiration designed around the occasions that shape the season. From finding the perfect gift and planning the Christmas table to choosing party looks and making the home feel magical, every element will make it easier for customers to create their own version of Christmas.

M&S Food customers can easily explore a wealth of inspirational festive recipes through the M&S Recipe Hub, while seamlessly checking ingredient and product availability via the M&S Digital Catalogue, making it simple to plan, create shopping lists, and prep for festive occasions all in one place.

Sharry Cramond, Marketing Director, M&S "Customers don't think about Christmas as one meal, one gift or one outfit. They think about all the moments that make the season special. As the only retailer with a truly cross-category offer spanning Food, Fashion, Beauty, Gifting and Home, M&S plays a unique role in helping customers create Christmas from start to finish. Bringing those categories together allows us to tell one connected Christmas story and celebrate all the ways our customers make the season their own. That's why we're proud that customers call M&S The Home of Christmas."

Andrew Hicks, Marketing Director, M&S Food. "Christmas is made up of countless moments, traditions and rituals that mean something different to every family. For generations, M&S has been privileged to play a part in those celebrations, helping customers create a Christmas that feels uniquely their own. From the food shared around the table to the thoughtful finishing touches that make the season memorable, we're proud to be part of some of the moments that matter most. This year's campaign brings that to life in a way that is warm, unexpected and full of charm, celebrating the special place M&S holds in our customers' festive traditions and reinforcing why we're proud to be The Home of Christmas."
